This guide uses only fees printed on each institution&#8217;s own page, shows what they cover, and explains how to work out the cost of the whole course. It also sets out the fee for the Bachelor of Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology (B.AOTT) at Apollo Healthcare Academy (AHA).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The short answer:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> among the seven fee pages we read on 24 October 2026, the fee for an OT degree ran from \u20b990,000 tuition to \u20b92,20,000 a year, and a two-year diploma showed \u20b950,000 a year. The Bengaluru examples are \u20b92,20,000 a year at M S Ramaiah and a \u20b96,42,000 total fee for four years at Yenepoya. At AHA, the B.AOTT tuition fee is \u20b92.5 lakh per annum for four years. Fees change every year, so confirm any figure with the institution before you pay.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>What Decides OT Technician Course Fees<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Three things move the fee more than anything else.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>The level of the course.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A certificate, a diploma and a degree are different purchases with different lengths. A two-year diploma and a four-year degree cannot be compared on the yearly fee alone.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>The institution.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A private university, a deemed university and a government college set fees differently, and the same course name can carry very different fees.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>What the fee includes.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Some pages show tuition only. The figures are as printed there, and each page is linked so you can check it. Two are in South India (Bengaluru). The fee for a degree runs across a wide band, and five of the seven pages do not say what the fee covers. Treat each row as one data point from one page, not as an average for the course. We did not use a page we could not read clearly: one institute&#8217;s diploma page showed a two-year course beside a five-year fee table, so we left it out.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>What the Headline Fee May Leave Out<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The pages above show how many separate lines a fee can have. Ask for each of these in writing:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Registration and admission fees.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Royal Global lists a one-time registration of \u20b910,000 and an admission fee of \u20b960,000 beside its \u20b91,00,000 yearly fee.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Examination fees.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Mangalayatan lists \u20b93,500 for each semester&#8217;s examination, on top of tuition.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Refundable deposits.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Royal Global and Mangalayatan list refundable caution money or a security deposit. Ask when it is returned.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Clinical posting charges.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Uttaranchal lists \u20b93,000 for clinical posting from the second year.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Fee that depends on your marks or quota.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Uttaranchal&#8217;s yearly total changes with 12th marks and the quota you apply under.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Hostel, uniform and transport.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> None of the pages we read gave these, so ask for them.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>OT Technician Course Fees for Short Courses and Government Colleges<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">People also search for OT assistant courses and for government college fees. We did not find an official fee page for a certificate course or for a government college, so we do not quote a number for either. For a government seat, look at the admission notice of the college or the state counselling authority for the year you apply. For a short course, ask who awards the certificate before you ask about the fee.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>How to Work Out the Cost of the Whole Course<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A yearly fee is not the cost of the course. Work it out in four steps:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Multiply the yearly fee by the number of years. A four-year course at \u20b92.5 lakh a year comes to \u20b910 lakh in tuition (4 \u00d7 \u20b92.5 lakh), if the fee does not change.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add the one-time lines: registration, admission and any deposit.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add the recurring lines: examination, clinical posting, hostel and transport.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Subtract any scholarship, and ask whether it applies to every year or only the first.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Do the same sum for every institution you compare. Ask each one for the total fee for the whole course, in writing.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>The B.AOTT at Apollo Healthcare Academy<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here is how our B.AOTT is set up, taken from our <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/apollohealthcareacademy.com\/programs\/bachelor-of-anaesthesia-and-operationtheatre-technology\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bachelor of Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology programme page<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Length:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> four years, with internships in the final two semesters.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Tuition fee:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u20b92.5 lakh per annum.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Eligibility:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and at least 50% marks. You must be 17 years old on 31 December of the calendar year of admission.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Admission:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on 10+2 marks, with no entrance test.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Lateral entry:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> diploma holders in Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology can join the second year (third semester), subject to university norms.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Hospital training:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> hands-on training in real hospitals rises from 20% in semester one to 40%, 60% and then 100% from semester four onwards.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Degree:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> awarded through our partner university. A score of 95 and above earns a 25% waiver, 90 to 94.99 earns 15%, and 85 to 89.99 earns 10%. Awards go in order of score until 10% of the intake is filled, so reaching a slab does not guarantee one. At the stated tuition fee, a 25% waiver is \u20b962,500 off a year, a 15% waiver is \u20b937,500 and a 10% waiver is \u20b925,000. Ask the admissions team whether the waiver continues in later years and what the fee covers.
