What is Aged Care?

Aged care is the field of health and social care for older adults. It covers common conditions of ageing such as diabetes, heart disease, arthritis and dementia, along with mobility, nutrition, medicine safety, emotional wellbeing and end-of-life care. As the older population grows, hospitals, care homes and home-care providers need trained people who understand both the clinical and the human side of care.

Choose a partner university tied up with Apollo Healthcare Academy (see our partner universities), train at a nearby Apollo hospital or one of our partner hospitals, and get hands-on experience, career guidance and job and placement support from AHA. Your partner university awards the degree.
