Bachelor of Dialysis Therapy Technology (B.DTT) at Apollo Healthcare Academy is a four-year undergraduate programme which equips future dialysis professionals with the basic knowledge and skills to deliver life-saving renal care and safe dialysis treatment. The curriculum is designed in both academic and clinical ways to prepare students to conduct and oversee advanced dialysis processes and machines.

In the programme, students learn renal physiology, principles of haemodialysis, handling of dialysis machines, care of vascular access, infection control and other fundamental elements of renal care. The curriculum includes current renal care and engaging in practice that prepares clinical practitioners to be competent, technologically minded and ethical supporters of renal care.

The programme also provides opportunities for simulated learning within high-quality facilities to foster practice in various service environments where graduates will work within the dialysis system, including dialysis centres, hospitals, nephrology departments or areas of care engaging in renal preparation.
