PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES

To develop a holistic understanding of emergency medicine, trauma care and pre-hospital practice across diverse age groups and conditions.
To build the technical and evaluative thinking ability to assess, stabilise and manage the patients in emergency and critical care.
To offer practical training in life-saving practices such as airway management, patient resuscitation, patient transport, emergency pharmacology, etc.
To build evaluative thinking, ethical behaviour, caring and a way of empathic but professional communication, necessary for emergency care.
To prepare students to manage acute medical emergencies in a competent and confident manner through current emergency care technology and pathways.

COURSE STRUCTURE

The curriculum is designed across four academic years, providing systematic and progressive learning with theoretical knowledge and supervised clinical experiences in emergency and trauma care.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Students must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the calendar year.
  • Applicants must have completed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects with at least 50% marks.

PROGRAMME FEE
