What is Medical Devices engineering?

Medical devices range from thermometers and syringes to MRI scanners, ventilators, pacemakers and surgical robots. Engineers in this field design them, test that they are safe and accurate, maintain them in hospitals, and make sure they meet regulatory requirements before they reach patients. The course combines engineering basics (electronics, mechanics, materials, programming) with human anatomy, medical instrumentation and the rules that govern devices.

Choose a partner university tied up with Apollo Healthcare Academy (see our partner universities), train at a nearby Apollo hospital or one of our partner hospitals, and get hands-on experience, career guidance and job and placement support from AHA. Your partner university awards the degree.
