What is Clinical Embryology?

Clinical embryology is the laboratory science behind assisted reproduction. An embryologist handles eggs, sperm and embryos in an IVF laboratory: preparing sperm, performing fertilisation procedures such as ICSI, growing embryos, grading them, freezing and thawing them, and keeping the laboratory's quality systems in order. The work is delicate and detailed. Strict laboratory discipline, ethics and documentation are part of the training.

Choose a partner university tied up with Apollo Healthcare Academy (see our partner universities), train at a nearby Apollo hospital or one of our partner hospitals, and get hands-on experience, career guidance and job and placement support from AHA. Your partner university awards the degree.
