What is Nuclear Medicine Technology?

Nuclear medicine uses small amounts of radioactive material (radiopharmaceuticals) to see how organs work and to treat some diseases. Technologists prepare and give the tracer, operate gamma cameras, SPECT and PET-CT scanners, and keep patients and staff safe from radiation. The master's degree deepens that practice with advanced imaging, radiopharmacy, radiation safety and research, and prepares you for senior technologist, supervisor and teaching roles.

Choose a partner university tied up with Apollo Healthcare Academy (see our partner universities), train at a nearby Apollo hospital or one of our partner hospitals, and get hands-on experience, career guidance and job and placement support from AHA. Your partner university awards the degree.
