Apollo Healthcare Academy and Samagra Hospitals Partner to Strengthen Skills for Healthcare Careers

Chennai, September 29, 2026

Apollo Healthcare Academy (AHA), an initiative of Apollo Knowledge, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Samagra Hospitals, Guntur, adding a multispecialty hospital to AHA’s clinical training network in Andhra Pradesh. The agreement was signed on 29 September 2026.

Samagra Hospitals treats patients across cardiology, orthopedics, oncology, neurology and gastroenterology, and runs a critical care unit the hospital positions as one of the stronger emergency and trauma services in Guntur. For AHA students, that breadth means one placement site can cover several very different kinds of clinical exposure.

Bringing Clinical Depth Into Student Training

Rather than specialising narrowly, Samagra Hospitals operates across five major departments under one roof, backed by an ICU and a team spanning each speciality. That structure gives AHA students a chance to rotate through genuinely different kinds of patient care - a cardiac case one week, a trauma admission the next - instead of repeating the same routine in a single department for the length of their placement.

Where AHA Students Train

Students from AHA’s Cardiovascular Technology and Critical Care Technology programmes have the clearest overlap with what Samagra offers; AHA will place students from other allied health tracks where their training fits the hospital’s case mix.

Preparing Students for Real Hospital Work, Not Just an Exam

Knowing the theory behind a cardiac monitor and actually reading one correctly at 2 a.m. during a real shift are two different skills. This partnership exists to close that distance - placing AHA students somewhere they handle real cases, under real supervision, before they’re doing it on their own in a first job.

What This Partnership Is Built Around

Samagra Hospitals joins Apollo Healthcare Academy’s network of training sites in Andhra Pradesh, continuing AHA’s approach of putting students in front of real patients early, across a genuine range of departments, rather than saving all the hands-on experience for a single internship year.
