PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES

The aim of the undergraduate course in Physiotherapy is to impart in depth knowledge and skills to a student to become competent in the techniques of physiotherapy and develop the proper attitude required for the practice of Physiotherapy.
To educate and train the student to independently evaluate, assess, diagnose, prescribe, plan and practice physiotherapy in a competent manner towards those who need such services, with autonomy in quality assurance and maintaining the humanitarian approach of service.
Acquire adequate knowledge of the basic medical subjects required in the practice of Physiotherapy.

COURSE STRUCTURE

The Bachelor of Physiotherapy curriculum is meticulously structured over 4.5 years to provide a deep understanding of human anatomy, movement sciences and clinical rehabilitation. The programme combines rigorous academic study with intensive clinical rotations to produce skilled healthcare professionals.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Applicants must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as required subjects and a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board.
  • Students with a PCM background who take Biology as a supplementary course are also eligible.
  • Must have passed class 12th with at least 45% (40% for reserved category students) marks with Biology, Physics and Chemistry and attain 17 Years as on 31st December of the calendar year.

PROGRAMME FEE

The tuition fee for the BPT programme is 2.5 lakh per annum.
