Apollo Healthcare Academy Signs MoU with Suraksha Hospitals to Build Job-Ready Healthcare Professionals

Chennai, September 29, 2026

Apollo Healthcare Academy (AHA), an initiative of Apollo Knowledge, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Suraksha Hospitals, adding a multispecialty hospital to AHA’s clinical training network. The agreement was signed on 29 September 2026.

The partnership gives AHA students supervised placements inside a working hospital, across departments that cover a wide slice of what allied health graduates actually end up doing on the job - surgical support, diagnostics, cardiac care and general ward medicine, rather than one narrow speciality.

Bringing Clinical Variety Into Student Training

Suraksha Hospitals runs as a multispecialty facility, with departments spanning surgery, women’s health, radiology, cardiology and general medicine under one roof. That range matters for students: instead of rotating through the same department repeatedly, they see how different parts of a hospital work together, from an operation theatre to a diagnostic imaging suite to a general ward.

Where AHA Students Train

Students from AHA’s Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology and Physician Associates programmes are the most direct fit for the departments Suraksha offers, though placements are arranged around what each cohort needs at the time.

Preparing Students for Real Hospital Work, Not Just an Exam

A degree certificate shows a student finished their coursework. It doesn’t show whether they can keep their head in an ICU, or set up for a procedure without being told twice. This agreement is built around closing that gap - giving AHA students enough real hospital hours, in enough different departments, that their first job doesn’t feel like their first day.

What This Partnership Is Built Around

Suraksha Hospitals becomes one more stop in Apollo Healthcare Academy’s expanding network of training hospitals, reflecting AHA’s ongoing effort to give allied health students more hands-on time before they graduate, not just more lecture hours.
