Chennai, September 30, 2026
Apollo Healthcare Academy (AHA), an initiative of Apollo Knowledge, is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with COER University, Roorkee, bringing AHA’s allied healthcare programmes to Uttarakhand for the first time. The agreement was signed on 30 September 2026 in a virtual ceremony between representatives of both institutions.
The partnership adds COER University to AHA’s growing network of partner universities, giving students in Uttarakhand a route into allied healthcare degrees backed by structured, hospital-based clinical training through AHA’s partner hospital network.
COER University has grown over more than 25 years from the College of Engineering Roorkee, founded in 1998, into a NAAC-accredited, UGC-recognised university. Students admitted through COER get the same AHA model every AHA student gets: coursework on campus, paired with supervised clinical rotations arranged across AHA’s partner hospitals.
COER brings an added advantage here - it already runs COER Hospital, a 100-bed teaching hospital with its own ICU, operation theatre and emergency department, right on campus, giving students a close, readily available training site alongside the rest of AHA’s network.
A Multi-Programme Allied Healthcare Partnership
Students across these programmes train on a curriculum shaped by both academic and clinical input, with hospital-based training drawn from AHA’s partner network - including COER’s own on-campus hospital - a recognised degree awarded by COER University, and skill development aligned with National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) guidelines.
All degree programmes are offered and awarded by the respective partner universities. Apollo Healthcare Academy serves as a skilling partner, facilitating clinical training and career support.
The agreement reflects the shared intent of COER University and Apollo Healthcare Academy to strengthen how allied healthcare professionals are trained in North India - through education that’s hands-on, industry-aligned, and built for real-world readiness from year one rather than bolted on as a final-year internship.
Both institutions remain committed to:
This agreement marks another step in Apollo Healthcare Academy’s effort to build academic partnerships that give students a genuine, hospital-grounded path from degree to career - and brings that model to a new part of the country.
